Rosewill RNX-N150PCe - Wireless N150 Wi-Fi Adapter - IEEE 802.11b/11g/11n, (1T1R), Up to 150 Mbps Data Rates, PCIe 2.0 Interface, WPS Supported
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: A high bit rate. Definitely beats my broadband speed which is 2.5 MB/s. It actually has a better connection than the laptop I used.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: You can't angle it to where the antenna is behind the computer. Else there is no connection. It was barely long enough to get by.

HIS HSVCA4082 S-Video to Composite Adapter

4 out of 5 eggs Gave me what I wanted 11/16/2013

This review is from: HIS HSVCA4082 S-Video to Composite Adapter

Pros: Gave me what I wanted, which was turn an S-Video port into a composite one. It's also very cheap.

Cons: I know it's composite, but I've seen better images. I didn't even have the right pins in the S-Video port, which has 7-pins and the block on the bottom.

Other Thoughts: Was having difficulty with putting the adapter in the port. After failing for an hour, I was ready to return it, but that was not going to earn me money... At least I found the right angle in the end.

Microsoft Windows 8.1 64-bit

5 out of 5 eggs Was like it was made for me 11/16/2013

This review is from: Microsoft Windows 8.1 64-bit

Pros: -Everything runs very quickly
-Love the new interface, even without a touchscreen
-Fast boot times
-Lots of personalizing available to me
-Can use my Gmail account in the mail app

Cons: -The Start Menu was removed, but don't we need to change once in a while?

Other Thoughts: Honestly if the only thing holding you back is the Start screen and Windows Store, then I say just give it a week or so to get used to it. The Start screen acts the exact same way as the Start menu. Only changes to it is that it fills the screen and is controlled differently. Besides, most of the reviewers here rating this one star are not even verified owners anyway, so it's like they are trying to spread their hate (or just forgot to log in when they bought it).
