This review is from: TRENDnet TEW-649UB Mini Wireless N300 USB Adapter
Pros: Small. Newegg shipped on time.
Cons: Only works at a distance of about 15 feet line of sight. Any further and any walls it is unable to keep a connection. If you need wireless, more than in the same room as your wireless hub, you should probably look elsewhere. I would not recommend for general use.
Other Thoughts: Supports Mac OSX 10.8, but instructions and software must be retrieved from support site. Knowledgebase is mostly marketing material.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Low cost. Runs cool. High density.
Cons: I ordered 4. 1 was not recognized in BIOS. Latest firmware. RMAd. 25% failure rate for me.
Other Thoughts: Bad drive = loss of use for week+, extra shipping cost for RMA. So low cost does not mean good value. Do none of the HD vendors do any QA? Seems a wide complaint that drives are shipped bad.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: IO rates are as advertised. I previously owned a G1/G2 and the read rates are still similar (although slightly faster). However, now write rates are roughly equal to read rates.
Cons: Expensive and early adopters pay extra.
Other Thoughts: In a laptop this is the mother of all drives. Fast, low-power and quiet.READ FULL REVIEW
