Pros: By far the coolest LED ram I've ever seen. They glow both as a UNDERLIGHT against the ram slot and up at the user. with the upper half blinking with a speed based on usage. It really brings life to the PC, and I'm really really happy with them. as far as function goes they work as their rated out of the box, no errors no problems!
Cons: The pattern is set, they don't blink as specific chips are access but rather in a repeating pattern that has a speed based on use. You wouldn't ever notice it unless you looked at them for a continues 10-15 seconds. and frankly with normal use you don't really notice because it's a long enough pattern to not be distracting.
Other Thoughts: Default was green, which was EXACTLY what we were looking for. SO we never used the program to change colors. the whole thing is wicked sick and I'll be using these for all of my next builds in the near future. They're a little taller than standard DDR3, even with a heat spreader, so just make sure your CPU cooler clears the ram area. ours was CLOSE but managed it.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: CM Storm Devastator - LED Gaming Keyboard & Mouse Combo (Green LED Model)
Pros: Bright even illumination across the keyboard. VERY easy to read keys when illuminated and looks badash!
Cons: Maybe it's just my computer's settings, but whenever I turn on the computer I have to manually TURN ON the backlight.
Keys are almost IMPOSSIBLE to read without the backlight on.
Mouse is always on, unless you remember to set the bios to not power USB while off. My Coolermaster mouse didn't need this setting change to turn off the light.
Other Thoughts: If you want a backlight keyboard, after looking around the bottomline is this is a AWESOME deal, it doesn't feel cheap, it works great, and it looks even better.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: StarTech HSFPHASECM Heatsink Thermal Pads - Pack of 5
Pros: They work as they say they will. but I can't imagine them easier than using paste.
Cons: easily damaged. and I found them for cheaper at a local store after I purchased.
Other Thoughts: if you need a temporary solution it's easier to clean up. but they are tricky to remove the backing without damage (there is a trick to doing it) and honestly, I'd just use paste first myself.
Can't blame the product. it does what it should and runs the rig I used it in at happy temperatures.
