Pros: Runs fast and processes calculations very well. Easily overclocked to ~950 MHz. Easily compute graphics for any modern game with ease(How many words with the root word ease can i use). Big explosions drop my fps down to 20 but I'm talking big explosions that are right in your face!
Decent price to performance ratio.
Cons: Download something to monitor the GPU temps and adjust fan speeds. I suggest MSI Afterburner otherwise you're default fan speed will cause the card to operate at terrible temps. I pushed 111C(Yeah, celsius) with default fan speeds, lawl.
As mentioned in a previous review, the fan can be loud beyond 40%. I discovered that yes, yes it is. Put on head phones.
Other Thoughts: if the 5770 is a boat, then the 6870 is a much much bigger boat!. What am I getting at? Ever made love to a peanut butter sandwich...READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: She flies. Still trying to find ways to fully utilize it's speed.
Cons: Get a third party fan, the stock assembly is just poor quality. At stock parts and speeds the core temps idle around top 40c (Room temp: 80F). When testing stability the temps hit around ~60c-70c. Keep in mind these temps are not terrible, just not ideal.
Other Thoughts: Was building a box and debating the 1090T hexacore or the i5 2500k. Honestly, this outdoes anything AMD has out as of 6/8/11. I don't know what the bulldozer series will bring but the 2500k is an obvious.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Beautiful. It's a 20", so obviously it's not huge but it's a great screen for the price and quality. Luckily mine worked outta the box. (Knock on wood)
Cons: Build in speakers are low quality but what would you expect. Get's the job done.READ FULL REVIEW
