Pros: It hasn't died.
cables are semi-modular
wires are fairly long
Cons: I bought this just as i was building computers and i thought OOOOO 700w, 80 plus, and 70$? sounds like a steal. not realizing i was doing nothing to future proof my machine.
all 16 pcie pins run off 6 wires from the psu..
2 pci-e connectors is just not enough for a 700w psu anyway.
several online reviews showing raid max putting psu's out labeled as 80 plus but don't stand up to their rating. Its as if raidmax got their 80 plus certification on 1 model psu and decided to label all as such.
Other Thoughts: 1 egg because this product just doesn't deserve the 4 eggs it's at now. Sure, it works, but it should be marketed as maybe a 4-500w psu at best.
spend the extra money and go with a xfx, seasonic, nzxt, corsair, or rosewill capstone. Then you'll actually be future proofing your machine.
Pros: working good 4 months in. I'm not pushing it all however. My system only draws around 400w peak. None the less the power supply has never missed a beat.
