This review is from: Polk Audio Monitor30 Series II Two-Way Bookshelf Loudspeaker (Black) Pair
Pros: Great, clean sound
Mounting brackets on back
Cons: Weak on the low end (not much bass)
Dust filters are a little fragile/cheap (nothing to worry about, honestly)
Other Thoughts: I've had these speakers for the better part of a year now, and they're great! If you can find them, grab a pair, you won't regret it. However, they are unpowered, so make sure you have an amp or a receiver. Also, as mentioned in the cons, they have very little bass response, so I would definitely pick up a subwoofer (I got the PS10 by Polk to go with these, couldn't recommend it more). Other than that, no complaints.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Very powerful for the price
Includes low profile brackets
Doesn't need power connector
Cons: Only one gig of VRAM
Not powerful enough for heavy gaming
Other Thoughts: Bought this card because I wanted something cheap to stick in a school computer that could play TF2 and similar games. When it arrived, I brought it to school, unboxed it, put on the low profile brackets, installed it, and installed the drivers; all during a class (no one even noticed). Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 had recently come out, so I installed steam and downloaded it. I was blown away by what that card could do. It could play BO2 at maxed settings with the exception of anti aliasing and maintain 60fps! The only thing that held it back was actually the CPU. Couldn't recommend it more for someone who needs a small, cheap card for whatever reason.
If you aren't a gamer, just know that this card can handle most day to day use just fine, and if you need to upgrade, no harm done because it's cheap.
