Seasonic SS-460FL2 Active PFC F3, 460W Fanless ATX12V Fanless 80Plus PLATINUM Certified, Modular Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: The idea of it perhaps? Bute really, don't know, has not worked yet

Cons: I received the unit, tried testing it (jumper test, PSU tester, plugging into mobo) and the unit shuts off immediately. I tried this with and without the connector to eliminate a possibility of a short in the connector.

Out of options, I did an RMA on the unit. The RMA process with shipping times took around 2-3 weeks which isn't terrible turn around time, so I was happy with that. However, the unit came back with the exact same issue.

From what I can tell, I think they replaced the relay during RMA. The relay I do not think was ever the problem as the relay clearly closed and then opened immediately (hear the clicking). That behavior makes me believe that the short circuit protection has kicked in. So, I feel there is an internal short. How the RMA department did not find or test any of these issues is beyond me.

I know DOA units happen from time to time and that does not bother me too much. The fact that the RMA came back DOA is completely unacceptable.

Other Thoughts: Would not recommend

NZXT SWITCH 810 White CA-SW810-W1 Steel / Plastic ATX HYBRID Full Tower Gaming Computer Case
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: This is a great tower for water cooling. You can put up to a 360mm radiator in the top, as well as up to a 240mm radiator in the bottom, without having to mod your case at all. There is plenty of space for up to the monster ATX boards and fit's the standard ATX very easily. Also accommodates the normal and extended PSU sizes easily. Very modular with the removable HDD bays. Plus, it looks pretty slick.

Cons: The door to the front panel is not so nice. The connector for my USB3.0 that goes into the MB from the front panel broke off. Wish there were a few more wire tie downs in the center of the case. Wish there was a grommet or hole to feed fan wires down from the middle of the top of the case, instead of running all of the wires to the front of the case, around the top drive bay and out to the back of the case (pain to get that back fan wired up).

Other Thoughts: Great price for the case. Recommended for anyone needing a full tower, especially for those looking to water cool.
