This review is from: AMD FX-8150 Zambezi 8-Core 3.6GHz Socket AM3+ 125W FD8150FRGUBOX Desktop Processor
Pros: Multi-core processing
Cons: This processor is currently the bottleneck of my machine, consistently damaging performance. It's finicky, loud, and while it may advertise 8 cores, there's truly only 4 physical cores.
Other Thoughts: I would recommend not buying this processor.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Install is easy, fast, and intuitive.
Many USB ports.
No Problems, for 6 months.
Cons: Poorly placed SATA ports, power connection, PCI-E connection.
After 6 months, the CPU power connector fried leaving me with a dead MOBO.
Other Thoughts: While this is a solid board, the UD3 version is a large improvement over this one. The power connector should be your biggest worry on this motherboard.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ZALMAN Z11 Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: Assembly was quick and easy due to the side panels and front panel. The design is very sleek and the four USB 2.0 ports all were functional and a great upgrade over my old case.
Cons: The only major con was there was a scratch when I first opened the box. While not extremely noticeable, it is right on the viewport causing some distress for me.
Other Thoughts: Overall, a very good, high quality case and something that I highly recommend if you want something that will let you expand to insane levels if you really need it.READ FULL REVIEW
