This review is from: 28 LED Flashlight Work Light with Magnet & Rotating Hanging Hook for Outdoors Blue
Pros: Has a nice hook and a good magnet on the back.
Cons: Dead on arrival.
Also, small. It is not taller than the palm of my hand.
Pros: It works. It comes with two antennas, one directional.
Cons: Adjusting the omni-antenna for directionality doesn't seem to make it equivalent to the antenna in my Alienware computer (4 years old) or my new "TP-LINK TL-WN822N Wireless N300 High Gain USB Adapter, 300Mbps, Dual 3dBi External Antennas"
While it's nice that a directional antenna was also included, it, too, doesn't seem to outperform the TL-WN822N.
I'd prefer the second both on price and performance.
Other Thoughts: My laptop should have a 240 Watt power supply, but current supply is 150 Watt. This may impact my results. It seems to run fine, otherwise but I haven't benchmarked it.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: BELKIN BE106000-2.5 2.5 feet 6 Outlets 555 joule Home/Office Surge Protector
Pros: It's a great power strip for the price
Cons: Surge protectors expire. If you want a surge protector that works as a surge protector and not just as a power strip, it needs to have a light on it so that you know when it fails.
There's some problem with the power in my house. I haven't diagnosed it yet, but three hard drive adapters have just gotten fried in succession. This strip failed to protect them.
