Pros: This is a fantastic product. Simple install and hassle free setup. Stopped by my local cable store and picked up a cable card. Simply inserted the cable card into the tuner and called the number provided by Ceton for my provider. Within minutes, I was enjoying six tuners! Not to mention, storage is no longer an issue. I save all my recordings saved on a NAS server.
Not only to I get cable but I can access Netflix, Hulu & You Tube all through windows media center. I couldn't be happier with the Ceton InfiniTV 6 PCIe
I was paying U-verse over $100.00 a month for TV alone. I switched to Comcast and am now paying $39 a month. Savings came in the form of equipment rental. I own the equipment now and am no longer paying fees for multiple boxes. Since I already have a couple x-boxes, I can use them as media extenders and they integrate beautifully with Windows Media Center. I will recover my investment in the tuner card in no time. Love this cable tuner!
Other Thoughts: Wish I would have waited until it was $70 off:)READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Microsoft Windows 8 Professional 64-bit (Full Version)
Pros: Slick interface and fast boot times
Cons: What a flop, I have a PC, not a tablet. I installed this with an open mind and have used it for over three weeks now. I had great hopes for this release but it's absolutely frustrating to use.
I don't want to have to toggle back and fourth between some useless fancy interface and a desktop that is lacking a start menu to get to the applications I need.
I agree the OS does have some cool features on the new interface but for someone like myself, I simply want to go to start, programs and Excel. I know I can create shortcuts but that clutters up my desktop.
One of my biggest complaints is that there is no media center. Overall I'm completely dissatisfied with this OS. Had Microsoft at least given the option to emulate Windows 7 I would have been more than pleased. I find Windows 8 to be a complete Pain and extremely frustrating to use. I wasted my money on this product and have since purchased a copy of Win 7 professional to replace it. What was Microsoft thinking? I work in the IT industry and all my co-workers are balking at this product as well. There is no way we could implement this across our network, our users would be screaming bloody murder. Thanks Microsoft for dropping the ball again!
Other Thoughts: A huge let down for business users, frustrating and literally a pain to use. Run away from this release.READ FULL REVIEW
