Pros: I purchased this guy to upgrade the Intel 802.11n Wi-Fi module that came with my MSI Mpower Max motherboard. It was really easy to swap in and it comes with Linux support.

Cons: Getting ac signal seems to be a little flaky. Not sure if it has to do with the RF topology of my house.

Pros: 802.11n Wi-Fi module was easily up-gradable to 802.11ac using an Intel 7260HMW chip. Just unscrew the metal shielding that comes on the original MSI card and swap out the mini PCIe card. Very solid motherboard, tons of I/O ports. Really like the look of the yellow illumination. Since the Wi-Fi module is Intel based, it comes with out of the box Linux support.

Cons: MSI released an 802.11ac version just a few weeks after I purchased this - wish I had known about this as it would have saved me the effort on the DIY up-grade.

Pros: Really slick power supply. Super quiet, the fan only comes on under load. 7 year warranty means she should run well for awhile.

Cons: The modular cables supplied are not all wrapped in braiding.
