Pros: Bought two kits, 4x4GB = 16GB
Installed on ASUS M4A89TD Pro USB3 with 1090T six core.
Set bios at 1333, 7-7-7-24 @ 1.50v
Ran MemTest for 24 hours, passed
Running like a champ. WEI is 7.5
Cons: Not sure I need 16GB of RAM, but hey, only too much is enough, eh?
Got it all for $70 on "Shell Shocker" delivered.
Other Thoughts: Running an SSD as O/S and Programs drive, machine is pretty fast.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: LIAN LI ARMORSUIT PC-P50 Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: Holds up to nine hard drives.
High quality fit and finish.
Other Thoughts: Built a new WHSv2 (vail) with this case and couldn't be happier.
Athlon II X4 640 3.0Ghz Quad
Crucial Ballistix 8GB (4x2gb)
PCPC 500W PSU (eight SATA connections)
2-EX322N expansion bays (total nine HD)
Areca 1220 RAID Card
1-Samsung 500GB short stroked-O/S
1-Samsung 2TB Client Backups and other stuff (2 partions)
2-Samsung 1TB HE (RAID) drives in RAID 1-Data
5-Samsung 2TB RAID 5-Movies (very fast on Areca), stream flawlessly.
Probably more money in a WHS then the average bear, but turned-out great. Idles at 130w, in hibernation 100w. Not bad for having nine HD's. Response time for access is top-notch. HD's run very cool. This thing is dead quiet.
Am a huge fan of Lian cases and this is no exception.
Pros: Ordered 2 sets, 4 sticks, 8GB total on 15% discount day. $102 delivered.
Defaulted to 5-5-5-15 @ 1.8v with BIOS settings all to "auto" on RAM.
Ran Memtest86+, 9 passes (about 19 hours I think), no errors.
Cons: If ordered alone, NE will ship via USPS. Takes a little longer then UPS. So, if you have anything else to buy, do it to make it a UPS shipment.
Other Thoughts: Red lights kinda cool. Can't see 'em though once the case is buttoned-up.
Using them for a WHS box. Kinda jumped the gun getting ready for Vail x64 to come-out.
No brainer for 8GB at $100.
