Great Mining Rack
Pros: Looks really nice and spacing for the GPU's is great. Solid construction. I love how the PCIe risers mount to the plexiglass. They provide a sturdy connection and support the GPU's.
Cons: Not easy to build by yourself especially if you have carpel tunnel in your hands. Only real con is that it would be nice if the motherboard mounted between the 2 power supplies. My cpu power and 24 pin power do not reach the edge of my motherboard so I can only sit the PSU's on the plexiglass base till I get extension cables for the cpu connector and the 24 pin power connector. Minor con and not the rack's fault. The instructions could be a tad better written but were adequate in getting this assembled.
Overall Review: Lots of screws. The allen wrenches that were included are not great quality but work. Word of advice, do not use a bed to build this as I did. A flat surface such as a table would make things much easier. You can technically mount 9 GPU's on this rack. 1 in the motherboard(or more if you have additional slots on your motherboard and 8 on the top part of the rack.
Junk
Pros: Continuous wattage and supplied jumper to power without using on a CPU motherboard.
Cons: The first one exploded and blew sparks out of it. This one worked upon testing but I repacked it away till I needed it and after about 15 minutes it stopped working. Now it is dead. I let it sit for about a half hour hoping it was just some sort of protection but still a no go. It is dead.......Now I have to deal with EVGA probably since I have had it longer than 30 days. Only used for about 15 minutes if even....
Overall Review: It does have PCIexpress power connectors however they share the same lead so that is a con. Separate PCIexpress would have been nice. Would have been nicer had it lasted more than 15 minutes for me......Shame.
Great Fan
Pros: Fan works great and has lots of airflow at high speed.
Cons: For me it was a con. It only runs at half speed till the temp sensor tells it to run faster. I shorted out the 2 leads of the thermal sensor and that made the fan run at full speed at 3200 RPMs which isn't that noisy and provided me with the airflow I needed.
Pros: Great improvement in performance. Anything newer than WinXP really ought to have at least 4GB of ram. Made this 1GB Toshiba so much faster. Newegg had this delivered the next day.
Cons: It wasn't an 8GB kit.
