This review is from: NZXT FN-140RB 140mm Case cooler
Pros: Great fans. They push a lot of air without making a lot of noise. Plus they look nice and feel sturdy.
Cons: This wasn't true for the 3-pin connector, but the molex adapter piece that comes with this fan is pretty lousy. The pins kept getting pushed out as I tried to attach it to an opposing molex connector. The pins simply didn't align, even with a little adjusting with a pin/prong tool.
Even worse is the 3 pin male connector on this molex adapter. Between two of these fans, only one came with a 3pin male to 4pin molex adapter that ACTUALLY worked. (the other was simply so loose that it could hardly keep the pins in socket)
My advice is not to count on the molex adapter. It's a coin toss in terms of quality control with that particular piece.
Other Thoughts: The fan itself, however, is nearly flawless. There are now 4 of these 140mm fans + 1 120mm fan in an NZXT Elite Source 210 box I recently put together and though I can hear the fans, I am amazed at how quiet it is compared to my expectations.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Wasn't DOA.
At least half the advertised size.
Cons: SMART info and sticker label indicated 4TB, I expected to see 3.6TB in gparted, what I saw was 1.64TB even after setting the partition table to GPT.
Model: WDC WD40 EZRX-00SPEB0
Size: 1.64 TiB
Partition table: gpt
Total sectors: 3519069872
Sector size: 512
Other Thoughts: I've had no trouble with Seagate's ST4000DM000 - it even indicated 3.6TB before it was set to gpt to enable 4TB partitions.
I've owned several WD Greens' before: 500GB, 1TB and 2TB variations - each with several years of literal-flawless operation. This purchase outcome has obviously been dissapointing for me and I will require an RMA for this purchase.
