Pros: No firmware needed on this Comcast installation. Purchased Aug 2011. Increased down and up loads by about 30%.
Cons: Not as much increase as I'd hoped, but I suppose there are other factors involved.
It ain't real pretty. Just a black box. So what.
Other Thoughts: Concast tech said it was one of the best.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I've used several of these in Surveillance DVR set-ups. This is usually very demanding on a hard drive. This one went into a Linux based dedicated DVR. Recognized, formatted and started recording. No problem. Quiet operation. No heat problem.
Cons: I've occasionally wished they came with a molex power connector.
Other Thoughts: I've been getting over 5 years out of Seagate's Enterprise drives.READ FULL REVIEW

Pros: Very good image details. Works well with Windows Live, Skype etc. Microphone is very sensitive. Smaller than expected.
Cons: Not too keen on the flexible thing-a-ma-bob to secure it to the display screen. Still seems like the right bump would knock it off. Would rather have a spring clamp. Also, the software installation package will install windows live and make changes in your browser and music player preferences - which you may have to re-adjust later.
Other Thoughts: Close to a 4 egg because of the above, but will give it a 5 because of the clarity of the image.READ FULL REVIEW
