Works with Fedora 7

GIGABYTE GN-WP01GS Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g PCI Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates
GIGABYTE GN-WP01GS Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g PCI Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: Very cheap, and is working well enough for me to write this review. :)

Cons: It looks like 2 or 3 groups might be working on Linux drivers for this. You may want to try different drivers, and you'll have to remember to get the firmware too (see "other thoughts" below).

Overall Review: If you're using Linux, you'll want to check out this page: http://www.ralinktech.com/ralink/Home/Support/Linux.html lspci 02:06.0 Network controller: RaLink RT2561/RT61 802.11g PCI uname -or 2.6.22.1-27.fc7 GNU/Linux Don't forget: You'll need the drivers *and* the firmware. I dislike these designs which require firmware to be loaded every time the device powers up. Still, at this price I guess I should expect to do a couple of extra push-ups to get things working.

It depends...

Thermaltake Soprano VB1000SWS Silver 0.8 mm SECC Chassis, Plastic Front Door ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Thermaltake Soprano VB1000SWS Silver 0.8 mm SECC Chassis, Plastic Front Door ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Quiet case, looks good.

Cons: If you're using a AGP video card, you probably have room for it and your hard drive. If you're using a newer, larger card (say, 6800GS) on a PCIx16, this case is too short from front to back: It will severly limit where your hard drives will fit.

Overall Review: Look closely at the pics... see how the front door isn't the same shape as the "frame" pieces above and below it? This obviously was an old case design TT recycled by making a new door.

Excellent (one thing to remember though)

Antec True Power Trio TP3-430 430 W ATX12V Active PFC Power Supply with Three 12V Rails
Antec True Power Trio TP3-430 430 W ATX12V Active PFC Power Supply with Three 12V Rails

Pros: Excellent power, and very quiet. 3 12V rails is definitely the way to go.

Cons: Not for 2x PCIE video cards. If you have 2 video cards, check out its bigger brothers. They have the extra connectors and deliver 550W or 650W depending on the model.

Overall Review: Bought this to replace a cheaper supply from another manufacturer. The cheap brand 500W couldn't handle any load on its 12V. This Antec saved the day. :)

Beautiful!

ASUS GeForce 6800 512MB GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X Video Card N6800/TD/512M
ASUS GeForce 6800 512MB GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X Video Card N6800/TD/512M

Pros: Excellent performance for AGP. 512MB and GeForce 6800 chip, what's not to like? Excellent performance for the price. I downloaded and installed the nVidia drivers, never tried the Asus drivers. The nVidia drivers work great for me.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: This card has given my old PC a new lease on life. I had considered replacing the whole machine, but with 6800 series performance for AGP 8X installed I have no complaints. WoW at 1280x1024 on a 19" LCD is good fun. :)

Excellent!

SCEPTRE X9WG-NagaV Black 19" 8ms Widescreen HD Ready LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 700:1, US Warranty

Pros: Bright, beautiful colors. No dead or stuck pixels. Can't beat the price, and often can't beat this quality at any price.

Cons: -

Overall Review: This is the 3rd Sceptre monitor I've bought so far. I'm replacing all my old CRT's with Sceptre brand LCD's as fast as I can afford new ones. So far I've been completely satisfied will all of my new Sceptre monitors.

Thermaltake W0101RU 550 W ATX 12V 2.0 Version SLI Certified CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Clean, quiet, and powerful. One place you never want to have problems is with power. I've owned this for a few months and have no problems.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Good value, worth ever penny.
