Pretty good case.
Pros: Ample space. Lack of sharp edges (no cuts this time!). It arrived with the packaging in excellent shape and missing no accessories, as to be expected. For the location where I have my PC situated I can say that the cooling works most adequately for a Core I7 930 with stock heat sink/fan. This is surprising as my computer is actually stuck in a small wooden cubby-hole in my computer desk which only allows clearance to 3 inches on top with only the back and front being fully exposed. The gap at the rear between the PC and the wall is also roughly 3-4 inches.
Cons: To the cons. The case is overall very well constructed, however, certain parts do have a habit of breaking off. One such part (though this isn't as important as it seems) is the "fan controller" knob. With where my pc is located I can't really see the case lights anyways, so the ability to change them is irrelevant. Also, they were smart enough to make the plastic piece that held in the knob in a way that allows one to carefully adjust the fan speed settings with a screwdriver. Other con is that it isn't tool less. I definitely would've enjoyed that much more, but it's not a huge deal. That really only helps once a month or less when a cleaning/upgrade comes into play, and if you're setup is like mine, the biggest hassle is pulling the computer out of the cubby-hole. Knocked one egg simply because it's a definite and solid 4 egg case. I would definitely recommend to others.
Great machine.
Pros: Keyboard spacing works for school applications, not too annoying for gaming on the go. Great power to cost ratio. Good graphics, though it gets hot quick.
Cons: Touch pad is very touchy. Fix is to disable and utilize a mouse. Nothing worth taking off an egg for in my opinion, though others may disagree.
Overall Review: I actually ended up getting mine about for around two hundred dollars less than Newegg was advertising at the time. Acer actually was selling it for 570 versus the "discounted" Newegg price from 800+ to 700ish dollars. Not a knock against the Egg, I think it may have been an error on Acer's part.
Great case... but!
Pros: Lasted more than a year and I don't feel like trying to upgrade. This is an all-around good case for enthusiasts. I do feel it'll slip into time here though as it's not as scalable as many of the less (much less) costly cases presently available.
Cons: Fan controller. At about my 3rd month of ownership the fan control knob came off. When I say came off I mean that it gently lifted up out of it's housing as I was turning up my fans. The real issue here is that there was no gentle way to replace the knob so I've been without it for the majority of the time I've had it.
Pros: Just look at the savings!!!
Cons: None! Must resell for PROFIT!
Overall Review: Lol
