Most Favorable Review

Overall Excellent Phone

Nexus 6P 64GB Graphite LTE Unlocked Smartphone (US Warranty)
Nexus 6P 64GB Graphite LTE Unlocked Smartphone (US Warranty)

Pros: Runs stock Android... No OEM skins or carrier logos on boot / no bloatware. Nexus devices get updates faster & more frequently than others. Phone works with all major US carriers. Has two front-facing speakers. Competitively priced. Has USB type-C, which is reversable /easier to use. Charges fairly fast (0% to full in about 1.5 hours) Camera works surprisingly well in low light with HDR+ setting enabled.

Cons: Camera defaults to 12MP at 4:3 ratio only... Changing to 16:9 takes 8MP pictures. Changing ratio only crops the image. No expandable memory... Does not support MicroSD. Charge cable has Type-C on both ends (Google's idea of future proofing) but doesn't accommodate for people who have USB-A wall outlets. Includes type A to C sync cable but is very short. Screenshots require volume and power buttons but can be difficult to take with different cases... Even those purchased directly from Google.

Overall Review: Overall Great phone... The pros vastly outweigh the cons, but in this review I made sure to only cover pros that were specific to this phone and not review features all Android phones have.

Most Critical Review

bummer in the summer

XION XON-700P12F 700W ATX 12V v 2.2 / EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready High Performance Power Supply
XION XON-700P12F 700W ATX 12V v 2.2 / EPS 12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready High Performance Power Supply

Pros: didn't blow anything up. great... if all you want is one 12-pin GPU. Otherwise see cons.

Cons: 700W you can't possibly need. "supports SLI" but only has two 6-pin PCI-E connectors. won't work if your single GPU takes two. you'd only need that kind of power with two huge GPU's, but surprisingly it's not compatible. ridiculously, ridiculously short 4 pin connectors. i'm on a micro ATX mobo and couldn't go around the back side without nearly breaking the sockets off the board. seems like you could have gone straight up too, but if you've got a big GPU to go around, that would be a problem too.

Overall Review: bought it because i wanted to leave doors open for SLI. now that I'm ready, I can't use it. could have spent less on a more reputable & energy efficient PSU but opted for this one b/c of the Wattage that (as it turns out) I didn't need. $60 doorstep because nobody on craigslist wants a used PSU and (a default online auction site i'm not allowed to mention) would cost all I'd make in fees and shipping.

Good... But Not Flawless

Logitech T650 910-003057 1 x Wheel USB RF Wireless Touchpad
Logitech T650 910-003057 1 x Wheel USB RF Wireless Touchpad

Pros: -clean design -nice clicks -supports lots of functions in Windows 8/8.1 that standard mice don't -good battery life -descent price. found it on an auction site brand new for around $30.

Cons: -doesn't work exactly like a mac... -smooth scroll/zoom aren't utilized for all programs. ie. looks very fluent in Explorer but not in Chrome -limited customizability. user can only enable/disable preset gestures rather than create new ones.

Overall Review: i'd still buy it again... but fluidity was a big selling point, and this device seems to be more of a workaround in the sense that most of the gestures don't work as well as they do on my Surface RT.

EVGA 03G-P4-2884-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 780 Ti Superclocked 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support w/EVGA ACX Cooler Video Card
EVGA 03G-P4-2884-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 780 Ti Superclocked 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support w/EVGA ACX Cooler Video Card

Pros: Finally I can game without worrying about settings and fps. I don't know. Seems like there'd be a lot more to say... but really I'm more fixated on gaming than hardware right now. *Fans are noticeably quieter than previous gen under load. *Doesn't use way too much power. *EVGA

Cons: /pass

Overall Review: No idea what some other people are talking about when it comes to coil whine. I know that sound from an old power supply and can guarantee that it's not present with the card I received.

yeah not so much

XFX Radeon R9 290X 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card R9-290X ENFC
XFX Radeon R9 290X 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card R9-290X ENFC

Pros: I'm sure it's a descent card for the price ...descent.

Cons: not quite qualified. see other.

Overall Review: note that big "VGA REPLACEMENT ONLY RETURN POLICY" at the bottom. that was enough to turn me off. i ordered this and it sat in the box in my kitchen for a few days. ...long enough for me to order a 780 TI. it's less than $100 more... and through the masterpass promotion you can narrow that gap a little further. so yeah. you spend a little more... but after shelling out that much cash why take a gamble like that as soon as you cut the tape? 780 TI as of right now is the undisputed best performing single gaming GPU out there. Quiet, no driver issues, and manufactured by brands that support guest RMA's (EVGA). Also the other card wasn't accused of sending out better press samples. Like it or not, if you constantly want the best... resale is something you need to weigh out... and the stigma attached to the cooler, drivers and even AMD as a brand is out there. I thought I'd give it a shot. Dove on one when it came back in stock without realizing the holiday return policy didn't apply to everything... not that I didn't want to keep it in the first place... but that 'what if' in the back of my head just pushed me away. Forgive me for my ration. Dislike button available below.

So Far So Good

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 750W ATX12V v2.31/ EPS12V v2.92 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC High Performance Power Supply
CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 750W ATX12V v2.31/ EPS12V v2.92 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC High Performance Power Supply

Pros: -extra long 4+4 pin - so much win -5 year warranty -plenty of juice for GTX 560 TI SLI -quiet - never got any louder than my GPU fans -black nylon makes things look much cleaner -more molex / SATA cables then I could ever need

Cons: -octopus (as expected). Felt like I was giving CPR to the cable management side of my case. I have about 1/2 inch to work with.

Overall Review: It took 2 PSUs and 4 weeks of my life to RMA the other power supplies I bought. One was a cheapo XION and the other was a very loud OCZ ZT. They call Corsairs the best for a reason. I couldn't be more satisfied.
