Cooler Master HAF X - High Air Flow Full Tower Computer Case with Windowed Side Panel and USB 3.0 Ports
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: This case is very spacious and has some nice features and a well designed component layout (hard drives). Great airflow.

Cons: The dust filters are poorly designed and a pain to clean. You practically have to disassemble the entire case just to get to the filters. Also unlike in my last case (Antec 1200) the filters themselves are flimsy. The plastic used for the front panel seems to be rather cheap for this price bracket.

Other Thoughts: Although the case is designed well enough for me to keep it the pros don't outweigh the cons. If I had tried out this case beforehand I would have gone with something else. I'll probably avoid Cooler Master for future builds if this is the best of the best.

AMD Opteron 185 Denmark Dual-Core 2.6GHz Socket 939 110W Processor OSA185CDBOX
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: I replaced my old single core 4000+ with this and it's running great so far. Even the Crysis demo on high settings (dx9 with highest resolution) didn't max both cores out (around 75% though).

Cons: Socket 939. Not a huge con but what can you do?

Other Thoughts: If you want to max out your old 939 system before starting a PC with a newer socket this is probably for you.
