5 out of 5 eggs GREAT FAN 10/09/2013

This review is from: Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120mm Case Fan

Pros: Took my Corsair H60 from meh to WOW.... and quiet as can be. I keep an aggressive fan profile and you can hear it at 100%, below that it's inaudible in a small room.

Cons: Price? Color?? Neither one bother me that much... HIGHLY recommended!

AMD A10-6800K Richland 4.1 GHz (4.4GHz Turbo) Socket FM2 100W Quad-Core Desktop Processor - Black Edition AMD Radeon HD 8670D

  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: For those wondering about drivers you have the choice of the chipset driver that comes with your motherboard (it has the graphics driver in it) OR you can use the Beta Driver AFTER installing the chipset driver from AMD's Support Page... that's your choices at this time :)

Cons: ........

Other Thoughts: .........

CORSAIR Hydro Series H60 (CW-9060007-WW) High Performance Water / Liquid CPU Cooler. 120mm
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Keeps my A10-6800K around 27 degrees Celsius at idle.

Cons: The fan that came with this cooler is TRASH, the coil whine was louder than the stock air cooler that AMD thinks should ship with their flagship APU (LOUD). I replaced it with a Corsair PMV Quiet High Static Pressure fan and all is well.

Other Thoughts: Not really a Con BUT if you have to remove the radiator for whatever reason you are probably going to have to change up your screws as the screw holes will strip after they've been used once.
