This review is from: SONICWALL 01-SSC-6945 TZ 205 Network Security Appliance 500 Mbps
Pros: Good color - very clean looking and the unit is shipped in a gorgeous cardboard box. The plastic wrap surrounding the unit seemed to be high quality and very transparent. The adhesive tape securing the package appeared to be applied straight and with nary a wrinkle.
Cons: This unit was selected as a more high-throughput option to the 7 year-old Linksys RV082 router. Sadly, this router is a far cry slower that the old Linksys. In actual speed tests the SonicWall is faster than the Linksys, but the time required to load web pages, S/R email, or download a file is much slower with the SonicWall TZ-205. And if you'd like to talk to someone for support or maybe allow an experienced tech to look at configuration in a remote session, it ain't happening.
Other Thoughts: I had great success with other SonicWall routers and security appliances, but this one has found a home on the DNU (do not use) lit. It's a great router, it just doesn't do the job it was intended to.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Cobra HG A1000 Magnet Mount Antenna: 21 Inches
Pros: This antenna is inexpensive and a snap to install. It also works OK for distances under, say, a mile.
Cons: In order to perform optimally, a CB radio must be a minimum of 42 inches. However, if you're looking to set up a simple communication system between a couple autos for, say, a road trip, this antenna will work fine. Just don't allow the cars to get more a mile apart or you'll lose signal.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: HYDROTOOLS Hydro Tools 9205 Cast Aluminum Tube Pool/Spa Thermometer
Pros: Quick delivery.
Cons: Impossible to read. If you buy this, you'll need to do what I did and use your power engraving tool to etch marks in the aluminum housing. If you don't, you'll be tossing this item in the trash. Otherwise, it's an ok pool thermometer.READ FULL REVIEW
