Pros: very low cost per TB
Cons: my read speeds are consistently 2/3 of write.
Other Thoughts: I had no idea that WDC made GreenPower RE4 drives. I probably would have passed if I had known.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SAMSUNG 840 EVO 2.5" 1TB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-7TE1T0BW
Pros: galactic space
low variability in read/write perf (no hangs or stutters)
Other Thoughts: This drive has been rock solid, I am only using 300G out of 1T but have probably over written the drive about 10T (I do a lot of ETL development). Not having to worry about what stays and what goes make work so much easier. I have 7 VMs I use on a weekly basis which almost impossible with my 240GB drive, I had to shuffle data around which was pain. I just wish I could have TWO them in my laptop at the same time.
System is a MBP 15 2011 with 16GB running 10.8.5
This review is from: Rosewill RIKB-11002 Slim Keyboard with Low Profile Chiclet Keycap Design - Retail
Pros: quiet, responsive, consistent pressure, low amount of key travel, light touch, space bar doesn't pivot (can hit it anywhere along the length).
Cons: home key block is rotated 90 degrees, this is lame and one of the only downsides.
Other Thoughts: I am programmer and pretty picky typist. I code about 100-300 lines a day and type about 50-80 words per minute. This keyboard is pretty damm good. Not just for the price, but for anything. It could be a little bit more compact, but I can't really fault it for that.
My previous keyboard, which I cry over still wast the BTC-9000, best ultra-slim keyboard ever made.
If you like the feel of the apple keyboard but want slightly more key travel and less pressure, this is the keyboard for you.
