Pros: I suppose it's a good drive but....
Cons: For 25 years Toshiba has refused to provide drive diagnostic software for their drives. And yet they fail like everyone else's. So why bother? I will not even consider Toshiba Drives until Toshiba offers 1) Free Windows Based Diagnostics, short and long tests; 2) Ditto for .ISO CD-Based Diagnostics, and 3) Free Drive Copy/Clone Software a la Acronis True Image. ALL THIS IS AVAILABLE NOW FROM WESTERN DIGITAL and has been for awhile. Why bother with Toshiba?
Other Thoughts: I deal with the public and when you can show them a printout of a failed drive diagnostic screen, they know you are being straight with them and will happily by a new drive. When they have to "take your word" for the fact that their drive is failing, they don't know if you are cheating them. Western Digital Drives build customer trust. Toshiba is idiotic for not providing drive diagnostic software.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Such a sweet chip. Very fast (7.7 on the Windows Experience Index, Not Shabby!). I was going to give up on AMD, figuring there was no point, but this chip has won me over. I'd bought one or two of the 3.8Ghz 8-Core versions, and the stock cooler was garbage, sounded like a vacuum cleaner, and I said, who needs this, I'll just buy an i5. But when I saw the 4.0Ghz version I said I'll give this one more try. The stock cooler was perfect, very quiet, and the chip is the fastest yet, rock solid, powerful, cool packaging. AMD needs two more really interesting and compelling chips, they are an endangered species hanging everything on this one chip. Go AMD, stay alive! I use Gigabyte Motherboards (update the BIOS ASAP) and Good RAM and SSD, and you've got a hot box.
Cons: Absolutely None.
Other Thoughts: I've said it all. Buy these Chips!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Beautiful Machine. VAIO's are excellent, this one's no exception. Everything works smoothly. Elegant and fast and well-equipped. Monster Hard Drive. Overall, Superb.
Cons: Mouse seems a little cheesy. Lots of Vaio bloatware, which might not be so easy to take off without messing the thing up. But you can just leave it alone and use it. Very few cons.
Other Thoughts: I haven't found a better Touch-Screen Win8 All-In-1 system yet. I had to send a Lenovo back because the screen was garbage, and (BEWARE) it was a Win7 system promoted as Win8 compatible but the touch-screen failed the Win8 Compatibility check! So don't assume that every Win7 system will upgrade beautifully to Win8. You have to run the Compatibility Test first or you'll NEVER KNOW.READ FULL REVIEW
