This review is from: Arctic Cooling S111 USB Powered Portable Speaker-Gray
Pros: Can't believe you can buy tiny speakers of this quality for $8 bucks (Shell Shocker) with free shipping. I just hooked them up to my work laptop and they do the job that the lousy on-board speakers don't - Sound great!
These aren't for the audiophile perfectionist, but for work they do the job. The speakers take up very little real estate on your desk and the USB power is so much better than having to deal with another power adapter. As another reviewer noted the bass is pretty good for such a small speaker. The large volume control on the back of the right speaker is great and easy to access. Finish on these little guys is great and the grey color looks nice.
Cons: None at all
Other Thoughts: Great value
Hopefully works great, lasts a long time.
Pros: Perfect reader for CompactFlash/ SDHC/ SDXC/ microSD/ microSDXC media. Sits on my desk and take very little precious real estate. USB 3.0 is fast and the build is quality. So far everything that I have used on this reader has worked with no problems and it gets the job done. The included USB 3.0 cable is just the right length for my setup. Also small enough to take with you anywhere. Also the LED is not obnoxiously bright like some external USB devices.
Cons: None at all
Other Thoughts: Would recommend this reader by AFT. Nice build quality and a good price point. Delivery took 3 days. Neweggs scores again.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Takes about 5 minutes to install the units in your home. Devices do what they promise to do - They work! Unlike power line adapters there is no guess work or uncertainty. I have a 2 story townhouse and the Actiontec. Devices allows me to have my main router on the second floor near the cable modem. The first floor I have a WiFi AP/Router that handles my BluRay, Media Streamer, Chromecast and all 1st floor wireless requests. DHCP, DNS & routing are handled by the 2nd floor router. The Actiontec creates the perfect network backbone for your home network.
Cons: None in almost 3 years. Just make sure if you have any work done by local ISP that they reconnect the cable securely.
Other Thoughts: Some people will say that you can accomplish the same network using all wireless, but the reality is streaming media requires reliable and predictable bandwidth. Having the Chromecast 3 feet from my 1st floor AP makes streaming YouTube, Netflix, Google Play Movie & Music work like a charm. You can expand your network coverage by just adding additional MoCA devices and drop a cheap router or switch in the room depending your capacity needs.READ FULL REVIEW
