Audiophile or not, these are what you're looking for

V-Moda White/Silver M-100-U-WSILVER Headphone, White Silver
V-Moda White/Silver M-100-U-WSILVER Headphone, White Silver

Pros: I spent a month aggressively scouring the interwebs looking for the best headphones I could find. After reading many blogs and product reviews, the V-Moda Crossfade had seemed to come out top. I needed headphones that were balanced in all directions--- As I'm big into music, but I'm also really, really big into gaming. My focus was great sound and something comfortable. So far after a few weeks use, I'm really content with my purchase. They offer awesome sound and are very comfortable to wear for up to a couple hours. I'm probably not qualified to be the Audiophile Club, but I do love my music and I love to hear it at it's best. These headphones do an amazing job really bringing everything out. From my research, these are pretty much the best headphones you can buy in this price category--- if you want to step it up you'll have to invest twice as much for something else. That said, I honestly don't know what more you'd want from headphones, the Crossfade M-100s: -Look sleek and high tech -Are durable and made with metal and leather -Have incredible sound -Swappable inputs, including one with a mic for chat/calls

Cons: The main concern with headphones, and something I learned in the past was picking "over the ear" style headphones. This is my personal preference as I needed something that didn't smash my ears and also had sound isolating qualities as well. My complaint, though minor, is that the ear cups themselves are a bit small. I'm a below-average sized dude and my ears just barely fit these guys. If you are one with bigger ears, I'd advise to run into Radio Shack or Best Buy and try these on first. I find them to be a tight fit, but otherwise still feel comfortable.
