Pros: Huge improvements in the widows experience index: graphics went from 1.0 to 4.1. Gaming graphics went from 1.0 to 5.8. Watching Hulu is also improved, but it is still a little choppy. For some reason my newer laptop plays Hulu videos better. My screen resolution has not changed nor can it go any higher.
As for games I have freelancer, it moves more smoothly, not much of an improvement.
Cons: Age of empires and Age of Empires II both don't work! That was my favorite game. Not happy at all. Old games but classics.

There is an upgrade to the software both were a pain to install. I had to do it a couple of times. It takes about 20 minutes. After the second or third time the catalyst software would not even start. Then I noticed that there was an icon in the system tray. When I click on that it was working.

Effective Memory Clock
1000MHz " But when I get into the software the clock can be adjusted to 900MHz.
The first time I made adjustments it crashed my computer, BSOD.
Biggest con is that I hav3e a Dell E310. It came with a 230 Watt power supply. Researching the Internet I found that Dell changes the pinouts on the motherboard connector. I got lucky and found one for Dell computers that fit the 400 Watt requirement for the card, but that is an extra $35.
Other Thoughts: Can't think of any right now. Not sure overall how I feel about this purchase. I am glad I did buy it because the 8 MB Intel video chip was getting to me. I could not play freecell? The desktop also has some improved appearance.READ FULL REVIEW
