This review is from: Tek Republic TUN-300 USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Network Adapter
Pros: Great throughput, inexpensive, light-weight.
Other Thoughts: A PC repair place near my house jacked up my onboard ethernet so I purchased this. Download speeds on Cox Cable Internet jumped from 30-40Mbps on N750 Wifi to 130Mbps+ on this adapter.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Plays everything at 1080p with super detail, crazy quiet with other case fans and 0dbi setting on. BLOWS 560ti OUT OF THE WATER in terms of power, quietness, and raw-game ability. 128bit Bus doesn't make a difference at 1080p. SSC has built in O/C and STILL has more headroom for another ~70Mhz.
Cons: I don't know who made the call to switch Newegg's outstanding shipping from UPS to Fedex Smartpost, but that is some garbage!
I had to get my broken-arsch up and go to the post office to get my card. Whatever happened to "best shipping in the business?"
Other Thoughts: This card is absolutely worth the investment coming from an older generation. I know you love to read all the comments typed out by some random internet genius, but take my word for it. If you game at 1080p this card will fulfill your needs. Do you like to jump the rez up? Or run at 4k? You're gonna need a larger card, Francis.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Good though-put, distance, and aesthetics. Very good price.
Cons: I don't know if it is Cox, the Motorola Modem, or the Router, but a few times a day I lose the connection. I'm quite handy with this stuff but cannot isolate the issue, troubleshooting continues because I hate having streaming video interrupted.
Other Thoughts: Definitely a good buy.READ FULL REVIEW
