Pros: Great quality output
Ethernet and USB connections
Toner lasts a long time (but when I buy replacement cartridges, I buy the TN750, lots more toner in it for not that much more of a price)
Other Thoughts: I'm an IT Consultant and have recommended Brother printers (and MFCs) for years and when my very old, out-of-date HP Laserjet bit the dust, this is what I bought for my home office.
Lot's of negative reviews on this printer but that has not been my experience. Maybe I just got lucky. I keep all of my equipment on UPS's or surge protectors (don't put ANY laser printer on a battery backup or you WILL have problems) and haven't had any of the power issues other's have complained about.
This review is from: Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2014 - Value Edition - 3 PCs / 2 Years
Pros: Bitdefender Antivirus Plus is one of the top rated A/V products on the market. I'm a Computer Consultant with over 30 years experience, and it's one of the few "paid" A/V products that I recommend. It doesn't hog the resources of your PC (like some well-known brands) and provides great protection from most malware, even giving a warning if you go to a malevolent website. Keep in mind this version is Anti-Virus only and does not include a firewall. Buy their Internet Security version if you want a firewall included (or use Windows Firewall or one of the very good free firewalls). I bought this "Value" version on sale for $30 and it has a $30 rebate - So.... FREE! Can't beat the product, can't beat the price! I use both the Windows 7 Pro 64-bit firewall and the free Comodo firewall, but Comodo does take some configuration to work efficiently with Bitdefender (novices shouldn't use Comodo with Bitdefender)
Cons: Not really a con, but some updates do occasionally require a system reboot.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: IOGEAR GCS614A 4-Port PS/2 KVM switch with build-in cables and audio support
Pros: It does work and the price is reasonable.
Cons: Doesn't always switch on first try, sometimes takes 3 or more tries, even though I press the keys in the right sequence and speed. Although this KVM switch supports high screen resolutions (one of the reasons I bought it), the video quality can be significantly reduced (seems the higher the res, the more pronounced is the reduced sharpness and ghosting).
Other Thoughts: This switch lacks a manual switch for changing to a different computer for those occasions where the Ctrl-Alt-Shift combo just won't work for some unknown reason (rarely happens).
Not a bad product for the price, but if you really need high resolutions, be aware the video quality will not be as good as if your monitor was directly connected to your PC.
