BIOSTAR TForce TF7025-M2 AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 7025 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: It was pretty good when it worked.

Cons: 1st board was dead on arrival
2nd Board "worked" but:
-Board would scramble which hard drive to boot off of in POST.
-When I upgraded the graphics card, the MB would not recognize it (the graphics card worked in other MB's).
-Bios Update caused board to die and not POST again.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to like this board, I really did. About 50% of the time when booting, I'd have to go into the bios and reset the hard drive boot order (it would reverse the boot order of my 2 drives and hang, I would go in and reset it and it would boot). I enjoyed the onboard graphics, but I decided to upgrade to a MSI graphics card (8800GT) and the MB refused to recognize it. The final straw came when I decided to upgrade the BIOS so the board would recognize the Video Card. I downloaded Biostar's tools, used them per directions, and the board never booted again. I'm done with Biostar. Stick with MSI or ECS.

Pros: None

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Great burner. I installed it, WinXP recognized it with no driver install needed, and I was burning CD's with Nero within minutes. I've owned for 3 months now and havn't burnt a coaster yet.
