Unique Monitor
Pros: Has HDMI, DVI, D-Sub, and audio connections. A fine monitor.
Cons: No remote control option. If the HDMI signal turns off, the screen shows a bouncing "No signal" box instead of going into standby. Touch sensitive buttons need stickers. Built-in sound is tinny.
Overall Review: I've happily used this monitor as my "TV" for the last 6 months. A PS3 provides DVD playback and games, and a MacBook provides Hulu and other Internet TV streams. A set of beefy computer speakers plugged into the audio out provides the sound. The only thing lacking is a way to change the volume without getting up, though a better set of computer speakers could fix that. Every once and while when setting up a PS3 DVD playback, the sound will be missing. Replugging-in the HDMI cable fixes the problem, I suppose because the initial HDCP didn't go well.
Record 6mos and 2days till death
Pros: Cheap.
Cons: Died at 6mos.
Overall Review: When it died, the ambient temperature was warmer than usual for July. Memtest86+ showed the 8 right most bits as errors.
