Pros: - The thing is absolutely beautiful, solid construction with an industrial design.
- IPS 165Hz G-Sync, what's not to love.
Cons: - Arrived DOA.
- Cables are fairly short (4 ft)
Had back light bleed on approximately 20% of the screen emanating from the lower right corner, returned the unit as defective, Newegg declined stating there was no issue even after I provided photographic proof. Charging me 15% restocking fee as I don't want to waste any more time with these monitors (a month in with no luck so far). With no cross ship option this has been as exercise in futility and will end up costing me nearly $200 just for the privilege of shipping this monitor back and forth.
Other Thoughts: For a Monitor costing over a grand with tax and shipping, the QC should be at a much higher standard. With all the reports of stuck/dead pixels and Back light bleed, I thought I was going to be returning this monitor several times until I got a good one. Turns out the very 1st one I receive was DOA, not impressed to say the least. And with no cross ship option, I am stuck waiting for a round trip to play the screen lottery again.
I will update the review once I receive a working unit.
Final thoughts: Stay well clear of this monitor with Newegg.ca they will only give you the run around. Shop with another vendor which offers cross ship options at the very least to minimize downtime. Also the other companies may have testers that actually know what they are looking for.
Pros: Great bang for the buck card, has handled every game I have thrown at it so far. I plan on getting a 2nd card soon for SLI in the hopes it can handle anything released over the next 2 years.
Cons: Nothing bad to report.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Great chip, overclocked to 4.5GHz right out of the box @1.28v with no issues. Can probably squeeze more out of it but it is plenty for what I use it for.
Other Thoughts: Paired this with a Corsair H50 cooler and they both work great.
