Fastest in its class.
Pros: SATA III, very very fast. Doesn't use a PCI-Express lane.
Cons: Not as fast as a PCI-Express SSD.
Overall Review: I chose this on a recent build for a friend of mine who wanted the best of the best money could buy at the time and this had JUST come out. I returned a PCI-Express SSD, which was rediculously fast, but unfortunately huge and took up too many lanes on my motherboard. Until the PCI-Express SSD technology is more fine tuned for casual-to-hardcore gamer-pc use this is the next best option. BUY IT! *ahem* New Egg ROCKS!
Wish I researched more thoroughly.
Pros: Fastest SSD you can buy!
Cons: This thing is way too wide. You will not be able to use the slots above or below the PCI-Express lane this card is installed on. The back of the card has a large heat sink on it and this card will not fit next any of the 2-slot video cards. This is not a good choice if you plan on running a SLI or Crossfire setup. This card takes a long time to initialize before windows starts booting up, once it does get started, it's off to the races!
Overall Review: If you want some stellar read/write speeds this thing is stupid-fast. Unfortunately for me I had issues with the one I received and had to RMA.
Awful sound card
Pros: None
Cons: Sound distorts even at medium levels. I got the card for the SPDIF input but the port doesn't even work at all. I could not find any drivers on the internet to make the SPDIF input work.
Overall Review: Your money is better spent somewhere else.
EXCELLENT cooler
Pros: Very very good cooler. Running a core i7 975 3.33 OC'd to 4.0ghz and it's running around 38-40C. I'll will be pushing this harder for sure! My favorite part about this cooler is it is incredibly easy to install. I've never had a cooler this easy to install and it was a pleasant surprise!
Cons: Can't think of any~
Overall Review: Stop looking at the thermaltake coolers and just buy this one.
Looks great, performs great, but....
Pros: Case looks great and comes loaded out with fans and goodies..
Cons: Thumbscrew hell! Getting to the hard drive cages is a pain and I don't like that you need longgggg screws for it.
Overall Review: Wish I went with a thermaltake armor case, oh well!
