This review is from: BIOSTAR A75MG FM1 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: It runs ok
Cons: Tried to install a larger Graphic card and lost 2 SATA ports. Alignment is off for larger graphics cards. This was a problem for me since I needed the connections available for my swap drive cage. In addition, as another review stated, when the system powers down(Despite modifying the settings in Windows) too often I have to reset to get the screen back.
Other Thoughts: This mother is good for Web surfing, but if you would like to add additions to it,look for another board, very limited for expansions.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: None, considering they may be short lived
Cons: Contacted this company by phone to obtain warranty information. I was told by a representative that ONLY the engineering mechanisms are covered under their 1 year warranty. After asking the representative to elaborate on the warranty details, I was told only the board was covered. I asked what if the bay doors or hard rive activation buttons stop working due to defect, and was told it would not be covered. Beware of this company, for they "WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR DEFECTS OTHER THAN THE CIRCUIT BOARD."
Other Thoughts: I always fully research a product before buying. This company has VERY limited warranty coverage on this device, if something fails other than the circuit board after the Newegg warrany expires, then you are just out of luck.....BEWARE!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This is an update to my previous review: The cage now works well, the problem was it did not like the SATA II cables I was using on my SATA I drives. It is very convenient for swapping out drives or booting to other OS. The power on and off buttons are great for when you only want to access certain drives when your system is powered on.
Cons: The power on/off buttons are too small.READ FULL REVIEW
