Pros: nice on paper
Cons: fan would blow up 100% constantly. Was not able to fix even with hours on phone with hp support
issues when using AHCI
not compatible with regular memory. Need to use super expensive hp mem
no sata cable top (where one could put SSD instead of DVD)
Very long boot time (minutes)
Other Thoughts: I had a hp mediasmart before, and was extremely happy with it. The microserver looked liked the logical replacement.
This review is from: ASUS P8H77-I LGA 1155 Intel H77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard
Pros: 6 SATA connectors; rare for this size
Great mem compatibility
been up & running for 6 months non stop with no issues
Cons: Asus upgrade utility crashes.
Cannot configure case fans below 40% using bios or asus's fan xpert software. If it wasn't for this limitation I'd have a super silent/low consumption build
only 1 case fan connector on mobo (had to use splitter)
Pros: mobo has nice colors
comes with SATA/IDE cables
Cons: Won't POST. Dr. Debug LED gives me 0x22. No documentation regarding this error code. Customer support is so far unresponsive.
no usb 3.0 front ports.
Documentation is a little sparse in general.
Other Thoughts: I'll update the review if I can get the mobo to workREAD FULL REVIEW
