Pros: First, about USB 3.0. Mine had out the back cables. I am not even sure if this was before or after the description was updated to the 20 pin. But on Saturday at 6 AM I contacted Rosewill through the "contact us" link on their web page and asked NICELY.

Less than 48 hours later i got a response asking for my invoice/order number and shipping address. 8 hours after i responded i got the following response from the same person.

"I have just completed the request for the following Parts for your Thor V2:
• Top Panel with USB 3.0 20 Pin connector

This request may take up to a few weeks or more and once I receive an update on this request, I will notify you for your convenience."

Now yes, a "few weeks" but who knows where its shipping from and how long do you wait for a rebates? I say good customer service. If i never get it i suppose i will update.

Beyond that I really like the case, and for the features and price you can't do better.

Cons: People giving one egg over USB 3.0 ports they wont even use (who needs 1 let alone 4, only a harddrive will benefit and you should be using esata then...) without waiting for support to respond. People need to understand that when this case was designed the internal motherboard header did not exist and boards were shipping with back USB 3.0 ports. So it was designed with out the back cables.

When the internal header was standardized they updated their case design, just like coolermaster and corsair. These means that when the description is updated to the 20 pin header there are still some in stock rooms and on boats with the old cables. It happens with every manufacturer. Support will help you.

Other Thoughts: This is a customer service review as others are being unfair, and I think this information is needed. I originally gave the case four stars, as it was a little rough around the edges, but I have had no problems with loud fans, and this was the only case that had the features i wanted. And for the price its great. If you got it on sale even better. I am still VERY happy with it, and I bet if you have a broken fan or defective/loud one Rosewill would help you out too.

Pros: Its large, outstanding cooling, good, quiet fans. In combination with a new heatsink ALL my temps are down 10 degrees.
- its much quieter than my old 7 80mm fan case that lasted me 8 years. I expect this to last at least as long.
-It looks good, its lighter than my old case.
-It has all the front panel IO i wanted. Couldn't find what i wanted on another case in this price range.
-Its much quieter than my old case. My GPU's are louder when they spin up, and the case doesn't really muffle them, but they are old fan designs so meh
-I am not using the fan controllers, but they look much better than i thought they would from the pictures.
--The side panels don't have the normal slide on slots where you put it on and slide it forward, instead you hook them in at the front and they swing shut. At first I thought this was bad, and the door wouldn't sit flat, but it does, and it makes cable routing MUCH easier on the back since it just swings shut and pushes the cables in, instead of sli

Cons: This case is not tooless. At all. The threading is kinda iffy on the thumbscrew holes and i had to use a screwdriver, the hardrives need s c r e w e d into the trays, when i was plugging the HD cables in the drive caddies popped out the front instead of staying locked, and every single one of the 5.25 locks the pins don't come out far enough to engage anything. It did work on the one bay my DVD drive is in and that shocks me.

The grommets pop out easily, and aren't glued or secured at all. The front bay covers are unique, and kinda a pain. The all have a kind of "filter" cloth but its just held in by bent metal. You can't get to the bottom fan filter or front fan filter, and they aren't removable.

And it sits WAY to close to the carpet for my comfort. I have it on 2 2x4's on each side to give more clearance for air and help keep it away from dust, which works wonderfully.

The USB3.0 cables don't have a motherboard header. There is an adapter cable out there if you google thou

Other Thoughts: Bottom line its a little rough, but its a rosewill. There are professional reviews out there, read up, and it has great cooling. The price and features are there, it will take some extra work on the install, But when you're done you will love it

Cable routing was easy, besides the grommets popping out, but if your careful and hold them in place while you run a cable threw they stay.

Lighting is subdued, and can be turned off. The reset button is recessed so you need a pin to hit it though, which is beyond annoying. Can't imagine why they did that. Who accidently presses it?

Mine had a dent in the bottom at the back foot, which i had to try and bang out with a hammer and made the power supply install a pain. The bottom grate is way to flexible. I don't take an egg for this though, because i dropped it a few inches when the top popped off and i MAY have caused it.
I can't say the hard drives need s c r e w e d in in a case review? come on Newegg.... really?

5 out of 5 eggs 10/18/2011

This review is from: ZALMAN CNPS10X FLEX CPU Cooler

Pros: In combination with a new case my CPU temps dropped 10 degrees, and that is with an additional 200MHz overclock and a voltage bump. I previously couldn't overclock higher due to temps, now i am at the processors limit, and still cool.

Unlike some i thought the install was pretty easy. My first time doing one that requires removal of the motherboard heatsing mounting setup and I had no issues. I even had to remove one of the fans and put it back in order to reach a plug once it was in the case and had no problems.

Didn't need the vibration strips. Its pretty quiet even with two powerful (N82E16835185060) 120MM fans on it blasting a jet stream of air out the back of my case.

Fans use clips and can slide up and down. I am using newegg item number N82E16820231455 for memory and the front fan sits right on top of the first stick in a crosshair III MB. So it doesn't block the first slot but any taller memory and you wouldn't be able to fit the front fan.

Cons: Its big, know your case.

I kicked it while it was sitting on the floor and slashed up a toe?

Other Thoughts: Fits in a rosewill thor v2 with no problem at all. Excellent cooling on AMD AM3 CPUs
