Pros: Great performance for home and office builds and entry level gaming rigs.
Cons: Stock cooler could be better.
Other Thoughts: This isn't a bad CPU, in fact it has plenty of performance. However, this CPU represents a terrible value for the money. You are better off saving $40-$50 and putting it towards the GPU/SSD and losing 200Mhz clockspeed and 1MB of cache with the i3-6100. Another benefit would be to use the $40-$50 towards a larger SSD such as moving from a 256GB to a 500GB one. That saved money could even be used towards a better quality/larger size monitor. Seriously, of all the chips that were released for the Skylake platform, the i3-6320 would be well down at the very bottom list of CPUs that I'd personally recommend people to buy. At $160 boxed, it's inching way too close to Core i5 territory.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Fractal Design Core 1500 Black Compact MATX Mini Tower Computer Case
Pros: Good cooling with plenty of fan slots, fan controller. Modern look.
Cons: Fan controller failed and the wiring to one of my fans MELTED! I will NOT be asking for a replacement fan controller, I wouldn't trust the fragile wiring used. It comes apart too easily! A few of the wires detached from the controller. The connector is too weak! Power and reset buttons are noisy. Bottom 120mm fan cannot be installed unless you remove the lower hard drive cage. They should have made this case a few millimeters longer so you wouldn't have to remove that cage. Also, you can't install a regular 140mm or 120mm fan on the top by the 5.25'' bays if you have something installed in the top bay, you have to use a slim fan (20mm thick or thinner). I use both bays, so I managed to barely fit a 120x20mm fan in there.
Other Thoughts: No hard drive mounting screws were included with my case, but I contacted Fractal Design and they were able to ship me the screws. Good job with that.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ECS KAM1-I (V1.0) AM1 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Mini ITX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Good price, works fine. Audio is clear and loud - impressive! Why can't more expensive boards have good sound? This board's audio has better sound than most so called "high end" boards!
Cons: No Windows XP support, VGA Port *WAY* too close to USB 3.0 ports. I can't use the USB 3.0 ports because I'm using the VGA port and the cable gets in the way.
Other Thoughts: Well, I needed a cheap ITX combo and got this with a Sempron 3850. It works okay for internet, audio playback and low definition video.READ FULL REVIEW
