Pros: competitive price, software is stable due to lack of bells and whistles found on higher-end gaming boards
Cons: First SATA connector hanging loose upon purchase. Now I'm unable to setup the RAID configuration I had planned. MSI basically ignored fact it was already broken, claiming I had done something to void the warranty. even though i stated the connector was loose upon receipt.
I'd spend a few bucks extra and go with ASUS as they tend to deliver higher quality parts.
Other Thoughts: Getting very tired of dealing with components that seem to become more cheaply assembled year after year, while prices never seem to come down. Even worse, most of the manufacturers don't even bother to provide warranty services. My time and money are limited - if these manufacturers can't up their quality, there are other hobbies that provide better value with less frustration..READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Nice LEDs; great deal on dual fans.
Cons: Need longer wires to fit my Corsair 200R case. Currently, requires the case to be opened with care, less one yanks the fan wires from the motherboard.
Other Thoughts: With 4th gen Intel and two case fans (Corsair 200R), I really didn't need these fans at all since I'm not yet overclocking. However, the LEDs really make me proud for the rig I've built. I'd definitely recommend the dual pack that I ordered which is only a few bucks more than a single LED fan.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Polk Audio Surroundbar IHT 3000 Instant Home Theater (IHT)
Pros: Sounds good when it works. The 'learning' remote also seemed to function correctly.
Cons: Like others have mentioned, this thing destroys the wireless connections in the whole neighborhood. Even when changing channels, as recommended, multiple routers, adapters, etc. would have issues that I'd never encountered before. Obviously, these things need some serious patches applied. At $150 ( half price), I should have known it was too good to be true.
Other Thoughts: Don't waste your time if you're busy like me and just want a decent sound bar to improve your junky standard TV speakers. Even with the huge 50% discount, it just isn't worth your trouble. OTOH, if you don't have WIFI equipment nearby, picking up one of these for $100 or so refurbished would be a pretty good deal as the speakers themselves aren't bad.READ FULL REVIEW
