This review is from: Swissgear SHERPA 17" GA-7467-14F00 Double Slimcase Computer Sleeve
Pros: Good construction, looks nice, good price.
Cons: My 17.3" Acer fits...barely. Padding is minimal.
Other Thoughts: The included warranty card states that you must send in $10 with any claim, if you add return shipping to that, I think you will exceed the $20 purchase price, so the lifetime warranty is meaningless.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Delonghi EW7707CM 1500W ComforTemp Electric Oil-Filled Radiator Heater
Pros: Safe, even heat.
Cons: Not really a Con, but Low setting is 700 Watts, Medium is 800 Watts, huh?
Other Thoughts: I bought one for a friend who has Propane heat (and Propane bills). She liked it so much, I bought one for myself, I have 'in ceiling' elecric heat. This is a much better (cheaper) heating solution. I also burn wood, but sometimes I get lazy and just don't feel like starting a fire so I use this. I have it connected to a timer to come on in 'off peak' hours. I'm buying the model with a built in timer as soon as I finish typing this. Oh yeah, the Comfort-Temp button only substitutes a built in fixed thermostat for the adjustable temperature control, no magic energy saving features.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Acer G215HAbd-1 Black 21.5" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ACM 50,000:1
Pros: Got it at the Black Friday price. I considered getting a more expensive LED backlit model, but the power difference was only 6 watts, if I get half the 50K hour rated life out of the CCFL, that's still over 10 years of use.
Cons: Setup is a bit of a pain, nothing too bad.
Other Thoughts: You can get DVI to HDMI adapters for under $2 if you look, and HDMI cables are a dime a dozen, so what's the complaint about it not having an HDMI connector? For this price, come on now!READ FULL REVIEW
