Antec Solution SLK1650 Beige Steel ATX Mini Tower Computer Case 350W Power Supply
  • Owned For:

Pros: None

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: One of the better case+PSU bundles out there. This case is suprising small for something that can fit an ATX motherboard. Space is extremely tight all over but manageable. Best thing about the case is that the fan grills are quite unrestrictive but will still protect fingers. The included PSU is stable (so far) and quiet. The case also includes a 120mm fan that provides a lot of airflow, but is a little loud (because of the whoosh).

AMD Sempron 2200+ Thoroughbred 1.5GHz Socket A Processor SDA2200DUT3D
  • Owned For:

Pros: None

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Excellent budget processor, performance is equivalent to the XP 1800+ (same core, identical MHz but higher FSB). Will kick Celerons but is nowhere near the Bartons or Celeron Ds. More than enough for the internet and light gaming. Highly recommended if you're on a tight budget.

SeaSonic SUPER TORNADO-300W 300W ATX12V Active PFC Power Supply
  • Owned For:

Pros: None

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Look at the efficiency rating. This power supply unit will save you money on your electricity bill even though it costs more than other 300W units. It's extremely silent too. Just don't rely on having the 120mm fan in this PSU exhaust all the system heat, otherwise the fan will speed up.
