This review is from: Case Logic Black 14.1" Laptop and iPad Slim Case Model AUA-314BLACK
Pros: This thing is nice and slim, just like its tile says. It seems nice and sturdy. It has a nice front pouch to hold a small power supply and a few other things. I wish our laptop was a tad smaller so we could use the bag (see cons section). Over all I think its a good bag and any one with a small laptop should not have any problems using it.
Cons: Not so much of a con but enough that I can not use it: Our Dell Vostro 3450 14" laptop hardly fits in the bag. Its such a tight fit that its hard to zip up the bag. Once the bag is zipped up the corners of the laptop feel like they are going to break free. Due to this we can not use the bag for our laptop.
Other Thoughts: Make sure to check the capacity of the bag and compare it to the dimensions of your laptop.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Targus Black 17" XL Notebook Backpack Model TXL617
Pros: This is one big bag. It will fit every thing you need + the kitchen sink. I just recently went to a lan event and in this back pack I had my Asua G74S, power brick, G500 Mouse, Mouse pad, G35 head set, 2x25' network cables, power strip, WD Elements 320 GB hard drive, trouble shooting disks, phone charger, clean shirt & socks, and bathroom stuff (hair brush, toothbrush & toothpaste, ext.) I had all of that in there and still had plenty of room for more. Lots and Lots of pockets and places to stash stuff
The Asus G74S is a big laptop and it fits in the padded area nice and snug, it does stick out of the padded area about an inch or so but you can still zip the backpack shut
The zippers are about industrial grade so I don't think they will give out on me any time soon.
Cons: I think it could use some more padding on the straps and the part thats against your back. I haven't had this on my back for any extended period of time but I'm sure it would get uncomfortable after a while.
Maybe some more color options would be nice too
Other Thoughts: If you need a backpack that will hold your big laptop + a lot more and you dont plan on having it on your back for hours at a time then this is the backpack for you.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: JATON VIDEO-338PCI-LP GeForce 6200 256MB 64-Bit DDR PCI Low Profile Ready Video Card
Pros: None since I didnt get to use it, see cons
Cons: We were going to use this card with our Gateway S case machines (Low profile case) for dual monitoring but you cant plug in the adaptor because of the tool less bracket is in the way. Must be a tight fit on normal cases. If you have a Toolless bracket on your case for all of your VGA/PCI cards do not get this card.
Other Thoughts: I think that this card needed some more testing before it was released, at least with fitting into cases. If they would have moved the DVI connector down just a little bit every thing would have been just fine.READ FULL REVIEW
