This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H50 120mm Quiet Edition Liquid CPU Cooler – Intel Only
Pros: Quiet, easy to install, efficient. Keeps my idle temps on the cores of my I5-3450 around 23 to 27C, and under load gaming, around 38 to 41C. I have the radiator sandwiched (mmmm... sandwich) between two 120mm fans. I bought one of the cheapest since my processor is locked and I do not overclock, but wanted to pull as much heat off the processor as possible anyway. Very pleased with the results. I personally wouldn't put this thing on a higher end processor, tho.
Cons: No extra screws so I had to locally source an additional set of 4 to mount two fans to the radiator.
Other Thoughts: The instructional video online was way helpful vs reading the install instructions.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1 Channels 24-bit 96KHz PCI Interface Sound Card
Pros: A million-gazillion times better than the realtek onboard audio on my asus motherboard. (Please note, that figure might be slightly exaggerated.) Still, it got rid of the very noticeable electronic hum in my fancy schmanchy logitech thx speakers inherent to onboard sound.
Cons: It took three days to get to me because i'm cheap and elected for free shipping.
Other Thoughts: OEM... Not retail. I got a soundcard... in a static bag. No driver cd. No fancy retail box. This save me money over the retail version. This same card sells as a retail box for more with a CD and a fancy box here on newegg. I need neither (and neither does the landfill). Downloaded the drivers from creative.. and I was up and running in no time. It took me more time to physically open my case and install the card than to download and install the drivers. I see people complaining it didnt come with a CD. Whaaaaa? Just go to creative's website.... and you save $money$ ! boom! paper in my pocket! I don't understand some people. And the drivers on the CD are probably old and need updating anyway! Anyway, the card sounds great for being as inexpensive as it is.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Overclocks very well, lets me run skyrim on ultra high mode. Upgraded from an XFX 5770.
Cons: For what I paid, it does what I expected -- its certainly not a top end card. To run 3 monitors one must be display port -- it wont let me run HDMI and two DVI but I knew that going in.READ FULL REVIEW
