This review is from: Rosewill RNWA-UC10 USB Cradle
Pros: Long USB cord with a USB port and base.
You can plug in your Flash Drives on top of your desk instead of under it. You can plug in a Wireless adapter and place it for Best Reception, instead of under the pc desk, behind the case.
Cons: None to speak of . . .
Other Thoughts: Great idea.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Easy to install, Well made. "High Gain"
It really does get strong reception, 5 bars.
Cons: It's not as "High Gain" as I hoped it would be.
Not anywhere close to 150 mbs, advertised.
Other Thoughts: I am expected to update my "router firmware"
to get the advertised speed. But it is faster than
the minimum 54 mbs limit because my system is password protected. Isn't everyone's wireless system password protected?? So why this meaningless limit? Something about a Frequency Standard does not allow unlimited throughput if a password is used . . . Really?? I am keeping this adapter, but I would be delighted to know how to get the advertised speed using this device. I have Vista 64 and a Cisco 300 Router. I have only 1 desktop, 1 Nexus 7, and 1 Android phone on this router. .
