Pros: It looks nice.
Cons: None of the machines I tried it on would recognize the drive at all.
Other Thoughts: Tried it on a few Windows 7 machines (32 bit & 64 bit) and none of them would recognize this drive at all. Tried restarting with the drive connected, refreshing device manager, changing BIOS options, etc. The drive got power and would open but would never show up in device manager on any computer. Also I bought the drive when it was on sale on a business trip, and didn't get home to try it out until well after 30 days past the invoice date so I guess I'm stuck with a $67 paper weight and a few bluray movies I can't watch. This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-G41M-Combo LGA 775 Intel G41 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Motherboard was great while it worked. Easy to set up, no fits at all.
Cons: Motherboard died after less than a year with very light use (it was in my mothers computer). Computer would turn off about 3-4 minutes after it booted up, and would sub-sequentially turn off sooner and sooner. Ended up buying a new processor because the temp alarm in bios was going off but it wasn't the processor. Got new ram, power supply, tried reinstalling windows but it turns off during installation, unplugged HD and DVD Drive and also took completely out of the case and the problem still persists. Also tried another keyboard and no mouse. Only thing left is the motherboard! +12V reads only 2v in windows yet reads 12.1V with a multimeter. I'm assuming the VRM is going bad on the motherboard, and that was with using a non-overclocked E6500.
Other Thoughts: Sent in for an RMA, received about 1 and 1/2 weeks later, hooked everything up and still had the same problem. Checked the S/N on the motherboard and Gigabyte sent back the exact same motherboard.
Will never buy a Gigabyte product again! Motherboard is decent, although it's downfall is a terrible company...
This review is from: APEVIA CF12S-UBL 120mm Case Fan
Pros: Moves a lot of cfm's, while relatively quiet quiet compared to air flow. Transparent blue, not that UV reactive though. Cheap.
Cons: Didn't come with a 2/3/4pin fan plug. Had to use up molex connections, and couldn't control the speed via software. So that means it's always on max. Normally that wouldn't make me mark it down an egg, but this thing is pretty loud and it's constantly on max.
Other Thoughts: Good for an extra fan if you ran out of fan adapters, or have a fan controller. Other wise you could get better fans for a few extra dollars. I'm also not sure if it is supposed to come with a 3pin fan plug, but mine didn't and this fan did come up on the power search for 3pin fans.READ FULL REVIEW
