Seasonic SS-560KM Active PFC F3, 560W ATX12V V2.3/EPS 12V V2.91, 80Plus Gold Certified, Modular Power Supply - Retail

Pros: It is virtually silent. Upon opening the package, the quality was self-evident. The fit and finish are phenomenal. The velvet Crown-Royal style bag that it comes in is over the top and unnecessary but in the spirit of fun; had I designed this thing, I'd want to show it off, too!

The bag and the finish matter little relative to it's performance. I've had this PSU for ~6 months and could not be happier. Many would have opted for a higher wattage PSU for my build, but they fail to understand that higher wattage does NOT equate to higher efficiency. When idle, my system only uses 40-50% power which is right about where PSUs tend to get the highest efficiencies, and this PSU is 80+ Gold. Worth the extra cash.

Cons: It's a bit large.

Other Thoughts: System specs:

MSI TwinFrozrII Radeon HD 6870

Pros: Purchased two.

Large, affordable, not a single dead pixel on either flat panel. Picked em up on black friday for 169 each (free shipping too!). In 2003, I gave 630 a piece for a pair of Samsung 19" Flat Panels with 25ms refresh. Can't believe what a steal these were.

Two of them set side by side look intimidating and awesome!

Cons: Near the edges, the color... bleeds? Is that the right word? It just gets a little brighter right near the bezel, nothing too awful. Also, colors were a PAIN to get just right. User defined color mode has a blue tint that I could never get rid of.

Ultimately, ran both monitors in COOL color mode, brightness 90-95, contrast 80, using DVI-DVI connectors. Then I made the following software compensations:
In Catalyst Control Center dropped saturation to 85 and adjusted color temperature to 5900K. For video, dropped saturation to 85-90 and tint to 6. Picture looks very nice now.

The vertical viewing angle is crazy. The higher the monitor is above eyelevel, the darker the picture becomes--significantly darker. The included stand only tilts down maybe 3 degrees so do NOT set these monitors up high or you'll regret it. It's not as bad looking down at them for some reason and side to side is average.

Other Thoughts: Clearly not as high in quality as my old Samsung 19"s were when they came out, but for the price? Sheesh, are you kidding me? I'd buy them again in a heart beat.

4 out of 5 eggs Cheap quality, but works. 12/23/2010

This review is from: KWorld UB435-Q ATSC TV Stick

Pros: Well, the price was right.

Install wasn't very hard, but wasn't without a hitch. Using Win7 64 bit and Media Center, couldn't get it to detect any channels after installing drivers. Rebooted and things worked. So even though the driver installer doesn't say you need to reboot, do it anyway (and it's always a good idea to reboot after installing something new anyway).

Picture seems really nice actually, the product is better than expected... After reading the reviews here I was skeptical, but for 23 bucks, come on! Of course I took the chance, much cheaper than the 100 I was gonna fork over for a Haupage card.

Cons: Software is probably awful, but I'll never know because I didn't install it.

Stupid RED LED on the USB stick is ugly.

Antenna has a magnet for mounting, pretty cool but probably not very cool for those who don't realize it accidently set it down beside their hard drive.

Other Thoughts: I just use it for OVER THE AIR digital channels and it works as advertised.
