This review is from: Dual LCD Monitor Desk Stand/Mount Free Standing Adjustable 2 Screens up to 27"
Pros: Easy to put together. Sturdy Steel construction Comes with 2 options to mount it to the desk if you are worried about the stand getting knocked over. Comes with nice wire management clips to run monitor wires along stand. Comes with most of the tools you will need to construct. Screen height is highly adjustable.
Cons: If you want to hook it to the desk you have to drill a hole in the desk. My desk is an antique oak desk so not an option, however sand seems to be sturdy so I don't think I'll need to worry about it. You will need to have an adjustable wrench or 10mm wrench to lock down screens.
Other Thoughts: You're not going to find a better stand for the money.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Gear Head SP3500ACB 12w RMS 24w Peak 2.1 Powered Studio Speaker System
Pros: The speakers have good sound for the price. Better than what you would get from a 2.0 set in the same price range. They are a small set so they would be great for a limited space. They are surprisingly loud for the size. the cords are a nice length. and the right and left speakers are interchangeable thanks to the plugin setup in the back .
Cons: If your expecting great sound why are you buying a twenty dollar speaker set? I believe in saving money but if your a music lover and you use your computer for your main music listening pleasure you are just going to have to spend more money than this or you won't be happy. The blue led on light in the front is very bright so you might not want to point it right in your face. Great for general PC and internet use.
Other Thoughts: I did not buy these for my computer. I bought them to use with my music player at work. I have a sound card and a 500 watt surround sound system hooked up to my computer. I also have a wireless surround sound gaming headset by Creative Soundblaster for when I don't want to bug other people in the house. If you love music or are a serious gamer spend the money to a descent sound set up and you will be way happier. Expect to spend around a hundred dollars to get into great sound and do your research because price isn't everything. I usually try to find user and pro review articles that compare several brands in the category I'm looking for. If your looking for great music or gaming sound these are not the droids your looking for.READ FULL REVIEW
