Pros: This processor is stable so far, no hang ups, freezes or any other issues. I have not used the newer Intel chips so I can not compare the two for anyone. I am not a gamer, but play online games. So, if you are looking for something to run the latest games out there, I can't help, sorry.
Cons: This processor ran a little hot with the few thing I do with the computer, with included heat sink and fan. The temps were getting to the Low 50 C. Idle temp was about 34-38 C.
Other Thoughts: I added new cpu heat sink and fan (Arctic Freezer 13) which brought upper temps down to Low 40C. If you are going to look at getting this CPU then I would get a upgraded CPU cooler. The Arctic Freeze is a bit on the heavy side, and is difficult to install, so you may want a different one.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Quality motherboard from Asus of course like I expected. I am running amd A10 5800k with 2 HyperX 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM(1600 mhz). I have no problems with the board. No crashes what so ever.
Cons: I am NOT a gamer, so for the graphics to act up doing what I usually do on the computer is pretty bad. The graphics on this board are really bad. My old HP pc with onboard graphics was more stable than this one. I get frozen screens, half screen windows where I can only see and use anything on one side of the window.
Other Thoughts: If you are going to get your own graphics card then this board is a good board to get. One reason I got it was to skip getting graphics card. I thought that running the AMD A10 5800k would give me graphics compatible to some middle end gpu cards out there. Guess NOT.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Rosewill REDBONE Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: Cost was not too bad. 2 Fans that come installed in case keep noise is to a minimum, much quieter than my last pc. You can hear them, but they are quieter than the dvd drive when loading something on the computer. I have not played any games yet, so I imagine noise level will rise with more load on the system.
Looks good for a "cheaper" case with the red led fan in the front, remember no window on side but front fan gives off a nice glow of red. Quick locks bays work good holding cd, hdd or what ever you put in them without having to install screws too, but added screws just so nothing slips....nothing did slip I just didn't want to find out if they would down the road.
Cons: I installed the asus F2 A85-M PRO motherboard, which is the uATX form factor that requires 8 standoffs (keeps motherboard above case) and it only came with 7, I had extra from prior builds but I think some mobos require 9 of them.READ FULL REVIEW
