SAPPHIRE 100352-3L Radeon HD 7950 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: I am happy with the performance of the card, runs pretty much everything at near full settings even with my 3x1 5990x1200 eyefinity setup! Running an i5 3.4 ivy bridge processor and 16GB RAM

Cons: Had some problems with initial setup and MB BIOS settings conflicting with the card causing lots of errors. Took a couple days to figure that one out. Eyefinity settings also get completely messed up sometimes when I change the eyefinity properties prompting a restart.

4 out of 5 eggs Works fine, but had some BIOS setting problems 09/26/2013

This review is from: ASUS P8Z77-V LK LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros: Works fine, recognized memory speed, devices etc... all correctly but some easily configurable BIOS settings caused huge errors with my setup. Took a few days of headaches to get it working.

Cons: I have this paired with a SAPPHIRE 100352-3L Radeon HD 7950 3GB 384-bit video card. At first I tried putting the MOBO in "high performance mode" which is one of the front page standard settings in BIOS. and I kept crashing in games and getting odd graphical glitches. It took a few days to try to turn off this high performance mode which did eventually fix the issue. I kept trying different drivers and updating BIOS firmware etc... Luckily I tried this setting just before I RMA'd the video card.

Pros: I am very satisfied with this processor. It works great and hasen't bottlenecked anything I threw at it yet.

Cons: none
