Pros: This tablet PC runs full windows 8 on an Intel based processor. A large screen makes everything easier to read and click on if you have larger diameter fingers. Allows for a touch pen to write or click or do whatever you need for whatever application you are running. This tablet has a great battery life and that life can be expanded with the OPTIONAL keyboard dock (NOT INCLUDED).
This Tablet is upgradable to Windows 8.1 which now runs flawlessly on this device. The windows store is beginning to grow similar apps as the other bigger mobile device stores and make this both a productivity and entertainment tablet.
The micro SD expansion can handle a 64GB Ultra High Speed Class I, grade 10 cards, which makes for exceptional storage and recall characteristics.
This has a micro USB extension cable that converts to USB type A female so that wired devices such as printers and external storage devices can be utilized.
Mini HDMI output allows for connection to a larger screen to display movies or whatever is desired in the capabilities of that department.
3.5mm headphone jack supports wired headphones with microphones for video calls or recording your voice.
Bluetooth capabilities connect to a wide array of devices.
Cons: When I had windows 8 on this device it would on rare occasions hang and throw a bluescreen error. Since I have updated to 8.1 I have had no bluescreens.
Other Thoughts: Overall, I am really happy with this little tablet, it does everything I want it to and allows for a remote desktop connection to my desktop when I need to pull up a file that I forgot to load on it when I am in class. I purchased the OPTIONAL keyboard dock from a different store that was close to my hometown so I could utilize the keyboard/touchpad and gain an extra 8 hours of battery life from the extra battery within the keyboard.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SAMSUNG 840 EVO MZ-7TE120BW 2.5" 120GB SATA III TLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Pros: This SSD is blazing fast. Nice looking outer case that makes it seem like a dark horse and matches my color scheme really well. The manufacturer includes neat little case badges to show off what makes the computer stupid fast.
Cons: Have yet to find anything wrong with this drive yet.
Other Thoughts: I purchased this drive to add some space to my primary boot drive because my old 60GB was slowing down and filling quickly. What most people that have an issue with installing these types of drives is the fact that they do not realize they have to setup the drive to work. It comes as a blank drive and usually the computer will not recognize the disk until it has been setup properly through a disk wizard that usually is provided with any boxed HDDs. I love this drive due to the fact that I have more space than I previously had and all my applications stored on that drive open almost as soon as I click on the shortcut. My boot times are between 10-15 seconds and usually the windows logo never totally shows. It is so fast that it is already on the login screen before my graphics can produce the image and the sound that goes with it. My system is fast to start with, I7 3770k @ stock settings and 32GBs of RAM @ 1600 MHz, but this just gives my system the edge.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This 700W power supply has plenty of connectors for both newer serial ATA and legacy applications. The +12V rails have 56 Amps to power just about any mid- to high-end graphics card. has capabilities and support for both SLI and crossfire multi-GPU setups.
Cons: This PSU is not modular, so its a little difficult to utilize good cable management, especially when you have a clear panel on the side of your case displaying the contents within.
Other Thoughts: I purchased this PSU to replace a 450W Stallion Series because I wanted to upgrade to a better graphics card than the integrated on-board graphics. This powers an Intel core I7 3770k with 32GB of RAM and rarely ever gets warm. The exhaust fan on the unit always seems to be at idle but will spin up when my CPU begins to require a little more power within some CAD programs. Compared to the 450W supply I switched out, this has an extra cable that contains an additional set of SATA power adapters and another cable for two additional Molex connectors. This has both the six and eight pin PCI-e adapters for GPUs requiring either.READ FULL REVIEW
