Pros: Pretty much eats up everything i have thrown at it so far.
It lights up, which is pointless for me since i cant see the side of my computer. But hey, its cool.
Cons: Price with new series most likely being right around the corner. Only Pulled the trigger on it since i was able to get it for flat 600 after rebate.
Seems like some coil whine or fan vibration around 2400 RPMS, Was able to fix by just adjusting the Fan Curve so it pretty much bypasses 2400 and goes to 2500 RPM. Never had a card with coil whine or what ever it is, if it was persistent and not fixable by doing what i did. Would replace to get another one, as it was kind of distracting. Still may opt to get replacement, will see.
Other Thoughts: Upgrading from 660 TI FTW in SLI. Card runs everything i have thrown at it, in "ultra" settings. although i dont have gta v for PC. Only game had to tweak ultra / high settings was in that Ark Survival. But it is much better then what i was playing that at before. Running all of these at 2560x1440 as well. My processor maybe holding me back slightly now as its only i5-3570k OC'ed to 4.2
Looks like the card continues to drop in price, although still not as low as i was able to get it at. Game switched from tomb raider to The Division, which i think i would rather have Division over tomb raider...
Fans do get loud but i would rather have that then card going above 75, average about 69-70 degrees in ark survival. Plus fan noise isnt that annoying since its a constant noise. If it were intermittent noises that were loud like coil whine, then would be annoyed.
This review is from: Logitech G27 (941-000045) Racing Wheel
Pros: Great wheel, works with ps3, 360, PC. Love it really.
Cons: Bought it in hopes it would work with new consoles ps4 and xbox one, but it does not and probably never will. Sony and Microsoft being dictators about peripherals for their consoles.
Other Thoughts: for 199 its a steal, is what i paid like 2 and 1/2 years ago, just a shame it wont work on new consoles, and im not about to drop 400 on a new wheel when they are even console cross compatible any more, need a wheel for ps4 and xbox one, no, dont think so. This is mainly on Microsoft thou not wanting things cross compatible anymore.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: monitor looks awesome, can play most of games at max settings, need to upgrade GPU later on, but im good with out spending another 400 on a new GPU for now
Cons: Yeah there's some light bleed when all black at certain angles. doesn't bother me like I thought It might. 1 egg off for the light bleed.
Other Thoughts: I actually bought this monitor and the LG -D the "2K" monitor for $699. To be honest, hard to tell a difference between the 2. I don't have calibrating equipment, just download precalibrated files from net that others had done. So will most likely be returning the 699 LG as that had light bleed as well. LG seems to have a finer set of calibration controls. But this is really a mute point unless your willing to fork out another 150 for the calibrating equipment.READ FULL REVIEW
