This review is from: ThinkCentre Desktop PC M57P Core 2 Duo 2.3GHz 2GB 80GB HDD Windows 7 Home Premium
Pros: Good entry computer for another family. This will be used for homework and basic internet tasks
Cons: Keyboard was defective and a column of keys didn't work. No 1, Q, A, or Z which makes typing difficult. I don't think it is worth trying to replace the entire unit for the keyboard, but that is very inconvenient.
Other Thoughts: Overall, a decent machine for what is needed.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SAMSUNG Blu-ray Player BD-P3600
Pros: Sleek design
Great up-converting of DVD's
Cons: Connecting to the internet was a big hassle and found that a lot of other users had hit and misses trying to connect as well. Wireless didn't work. I eventually was able to connect through a cable which is okay.
The biggest knock is that this cannot read my Network Storage. It connects to folders through the windows shared folder properties and since my network storage is already shared, it doesn't have those options. So it can see my storage, it just cannot access any folders.
There was some concern that around 1 hour the divx player would freeze and I couldn't get any of the play controls to work on the couple of media files that I tried.
The samsung LCD can read my network storage, why is this different?
Also, the player doesn't remember your connection (computer/username/password) on restart so you'll have to enter all that information in all the time...
Other Thoughts: I haven't tried Netflix or Pandora yet, but eventually I might. I was more wanting this player for all my media on my network, but now I would have to copy it to my computer if I want to play it. Which is a bit annoying.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Samsung 46" 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV LN46B750
Pros: This is a great television for our entertainment room.
Picture is amazing and it has a lot of great features on it.
Newegg delivered it on time!
Easy to hook up to the internet.
Cons: Can't play AVI video files.
Other Thoughts: The default settings for the TV make DVD's almost too real. It made me thing I was watching a documentary. I guess I'm just so used to a fuzzy picture. We toned down the settings a little, but it is still the best TV we've had in a long time. I would recommend this for any house.READ FULL REVIEW
